About FireHawk
A Bioherbicide is a weed control product derived from naturally occurring compounds. FireHawk Bioherbicide's active ingredient is nonanoic acid, a fatty acid, for fast-acting non-selective contact weed control.
FireHawk Bioherbicide works on contact to rapidly desiccate weeds, by damaging only the green parts of plant tissue. It controls existing weeds only.
FireHawk Bioherbicide controls a wide range of broadleaf weeds, grasses, mosses, and other cryptogams. Common Australian species on the label include Capeweed, Burr Medic, Wireweed, Pigweed, Fat Hen, Dandelion, Couch Grass, Paspalum, and Perennial Ryegrass, along with mosses, lichens, and algae. Because it is non-selective, it will affect any green vegetation it contacts. Refer to the product label for the full species list.
Weed Control & Results
Apply FireHawk Bioherbicide only as directed on the label. It works best on actively growing weeds under 12 cm.
FireHawk Bioherbicide is for outdoor residential use in approved areas such as driveways, patios, walkways, gravel, garden beds, vegetable gardens, trees, and shrubs.
FireHawk Bioherbicide is fast-acting and starts working within hours.
Yes. FireHawk Bioherbicide is rainproof in 1 to 2 hours, depending on the product version and label directions.
