FireHawk® Bioherbicide is built for people who want effective weed control with a more deliberate approach. Whether you are caring for a backyard garden or managing acres of productive land, the patented formulation is powered by nonanoic acid, a fatty acid found naturally in many plants. It works on contact to break down actively growing weeds. That includes annuals, perennials, grasses, broadleaf species, and most mosses, lichens, and algae. You will see visible change on most weeds within hours. FireHawk works only where it is sprayed, affecting just the plant tissue coated by the spray. Always read and follow the product label including the directions for use.

FireHawk Bioherbicide is shaped by an advisory board of regenerative farmers and weed-science specialists whose hands-on experience helps guide how we develop practical, effective weed control for today’s landscapes and farms.

FireHawk Bioherbicide is a product of Contact BioSolutions and is part of our commitment to harness technology to meet the growing demand for considered land management. We work with farmers, families, and communities to provide effective alternatives to conventional herbicide programs.

FAQs

About FireHawk

A Bioherbicide is a weed control product derived from naturally occurring compounds. FireHawk Bioherbicide's active ingredient is nonanoic acid, a fatty acid, for fast-acting non-selective contact weed control.

FireHawk Bioherbicide works on contact to rapidly desiccate weeds, by damaging only the green parts of plant tissue. It controls existing weeds only.

FireHawk Bioherbicide controls a wide range of broadleaf weeds, grasses, mosses, and other cryptogams. Common Australian species on the label include Capeweed, Burr Medic, Wireweed, Pigweed, Fat Hen, Dandelion, Couch Grass, Paspalum, and Perennial Ryegrass, along with mosses, lichens, and algae. Because it is non-selective, it will affect any green vegetation it contacts. Refer to the product label for the full species list.
